I have dark black hair, how do I get it white?? ($15 Reward)?

No joke, I been searching for the longest on how to do this, I want my hair to be white like this guy ----%26gt; http://allstar2.gurus.com (The old guy at the bottom his name is Frank. I want my hair to be white like that. IS it Possible??

My hair is jet black naturally (like Jet Lee's hair)

Now to get the $15, you do it the way I'm explaining I will vote you best pick, and you email me your addresss or some address and I'll send you the $15, that's how desperate I am.

(How to Answer Me)

Don't just give me a website, I need someone to explain in simple step by step HOW to do this. Be very clear, e.g.

1. Buy a bleaching product called so %26amp; so

2. Wash hair

3. Get it Bleached

blah blah

Then I try it out and see if what you explained works, and I get my hair white as that guys own. AND THEN I send you your money.

I have dark black hair, how do I get it white?? ($15 Reward)?

It is not possible. If you bleach your hair you will not beable to get it any lighter than a light lemony blonde. With your hair being dark it wouldn't even get as light as a lemony blonde because it would break off before reaching that point. Bleach is a decolorizer, not a color. It takes the color our of your hair. You can only take out so much color before you hair weakens and reaches that breaking point.

I have been doing hair 9 yrs. and have never seen a white hair color.

I know this is not the answer that you are looking for, but it is an honest answer!!

For all you people being mean, this girl had no idea and you shouldn't be so hard on her. For the blk. chick who made the racist comment "Your *** should be turned in for your ignorance" If a white person made a comment like that it would hit the fan.

Oh, Manic Panic is not a bleach, it is a semi-permanent color that has no lift only deposit. It will not do a thing for your hair.

Good Luck,

Stylist of 9 yrs.

I have dark black hair, how do I get it white?? ($15 Reward)?

u r nuts

I have dark black hair, how do I get it white?? ($15 Reward)?

WAIT y da hell do u want ur hair like dat ? well her u go stupid..

1 get a white hair dye or bleach

2 wash hair

3 apply items to hair (read box)

4 wash out

5 wa la white hair! that wasnt that hard

BLEACH

1 let it sit in hair for about 30 mins.

2 wash out

3 white hair!

I have dark black hair, how do I get it white?? ($15 Reward)?

I don't want your 15 dollars :-) But to bleach your hair completely white, you could go to a beauty supply store and buy Manic Panic bleach. It will have step by step directions. The only thing is, the kind you should use and the timing depend on your individual head of hair, it would be best to have it done at a salon so that your hair doesn't fall out and you don't burn your scalp. A salon that does trendy punk styles would probably be experienced in this.

FYI: Manic Panic makes both bleach and colors.

http://www.hottopic.com/store/product.as...

and this guy on the left of this page did exactly what you want to do with it, go from black to white:

http://www.manicpanic.com/dyehardstoo.ht...

I have dark black hair, how do I get it white?? ($15 Reward)?

wear a wig

I have dark black hair, how do I get it white?? ($15 Reward)?

Don't worry about the $15...you're gonna need it to buy a wig, because yes, you CAN do it, but it is gonna be hell on your hair, and anyone that tells you otherwise is not telling the truth.

What you do is bleach it up as far as it will go. You follow the instructions on the bleach kit and then do it again...wait a few days and do it again, wait a few days and do it again. You're gonna go through some awful red stages.

Eventually, it won't be white by bleach alone, because you'll get to the place where you've stripped it except for the hair's keratin, which is not white, but instead, a light reddish-blond color.

When you get it there, and with jet black hair, it is gonna take some real work and time, you are going to have to go back to the Beauty Supply store, and buy some COLOR, not bleach, to go over it. They'll have white or shades of light light platinum to go over it. This is to cover and fill in where you've stripped the hair strand. And to infuse the white color.

You don't wanna do this...you're gonna ruin your hair! That much stress to the hair strand will give you breakage...you'll notice your hair is much thinner, shorter, but yet IMPOSSIBLE to get a comb through without a gallon of conditioner.

So yes, it can be done. But not a good idea!

That's how you'd do it yourself...

Some salon would take it on for you and that would be a better bet, but it wouldn't be cheap or easy for them either. However, that would be a better way to go because this will be a multiple step process.

It's gonna burn your hair, man. But yeah, it can be done. Just shouldn't.

I have dark black hair, how do I get it white?? ($15 Reward)?

you cna keep your money but here is how you can do it. it's easy but time consuming.

buy some bleach and 30vol developer

mix it according to the instructions and leave it on your hair (not on the scalp, about 1cm away from your scalp actually.) leave it on for 20min and sit in the sun or a dryer.

wash it out, don't shampoo but wash it out all the way and then dry it off with a blow dryer.

reapeat the steps again for 30min. it's still not gonna be white but it'll be blonde. then that day deep condition your hair for 30min and let it air dry. deep condiotion for a few days and then bleach again. you don't want to strip your hair more than twice a day though. you can buy all the products at www.folica.com and they ship for free!

just so you know this will destroy your hair but good luck!

I have dark black hair, how do I get it white?? ($15 Reward)?

Cute lady,

I suspect that lady (in the pix) was a blonde as a child and this is how she has aged gracefully, or with a little help at the salon.

If you have such beautiful dark hair, I don't think I would tamper with the whole head. Just for fun, you could try a very small section to lift. To from a level 1 or 2 to a 10 or 12 you will need a "on the scalp oil bleach", a lot of time and lotza and lotza money$$$$ and a VERY, VERY EXPERIENCED AND good colorist hairdresser that specializes in NOTHING but hair color.

This is a very difficult procedure. You could volunteer as a hair model at hair show, contact your professional beauty supply store for hair shows coming up and it will be done for FREE!!!

Hair shows are going on now thru Thanksgiving.

If you insist in doing this yourself, please reserve some $$$$ for a nice wig until your hair grows out..allow about 1/2 inch per month.

Hey just save your money, buy the wig, (Raquel Welch has the best!) the color you want is, Glazed Vanilla is the great color I think you want to play with . You can be a blonde whenever you want without the damage, up-keep and expense with a cute wig or hair piece.

So Wig Out and have some fun,

The Diva, Darling

PS-

Black Girl can't spell or write either, guess she has her thong in a wad and it cut off the blood to her brain.

I have dark black hair, how do I get it white?? ($15 Reward)?

I am hairstyles and your going to have to bleach your hair in a number of steps if it jet black.

CHI bleach is the best for lifting a number of level fast

and use 40VL developer

keep it on NO LONGER then 30 mins

its going to be a orange brass color so but it on again (PUT SWEET INLOW IN THE BLEACH) THIS well help it from not burning your head keep doing that Intel you get the color you want.

But the best thing to do is go to a salon but its going to coast ya and if you dont have alot of money find a beauty college look it up in your phone book That coats ALOT less and they do a good job because they have teachers helping them

I have dark black hair, how do I get it white?? ($15 Reward)?

While some hair fall daily is natural, stress, hairstyle products and lack of nutrition can cause excessive hair fall as listed at http://tinyurl.com/kshvn . By changing your lifestyle and using herbal remedies, you can reduce hair loss. More details available at http://tinyurl.com/py7z4 .

Bleach Black Hair for Copper?

I have naturally jet black hair but I wanted to add some copper streaks to it (friend is doing it). I had 30 strength clairoxide and coppertone dye, but after 30 minutes with the right mixture the clairoxide had no effect. I bought bleach and plan on having my friend bleach streaks and then redye them with the copper hair dye. I plan on cutting my hair in 2 months (i'm a guy) so i'm not worried about any damage to my hair (bleach isn't permanent right?) Is this a good idea or is there a better way to approach this?

Bleach Black Hair for Copper?

Yes, bleach is permanent...and if you keep putiing it in your hair, it will get dry and damaged...even if it looks as though it didn't do anything.

Bleach Black Hair for Copper?

ok heres my suggestion, just go buy regular bleach from walmart or target but dont put it on too long cuz that way will make ur hair tooo light and too damaged, you want the effect to come out kinda light but not tooo blonde, then buy from walmart a red color dye any red is fine but if you can fine a bottle that says "copper red" would be best! just not the dark red ones and dye it over the bleach you did.

The effect will come out Copper color, i know it sounds weird but it works! give it a try. Thats how i did it but it never gave me the red i want and it always comes out "Copper" color lols! =) hope this helps =)

How can I make dyed black hair fade faster?

I have naturally light brown/dirty blonde hair that I dye black. It's summer, and I want to fade it to a color that will take in deep, copper red dye like I had it dyed a previous summer. How can I do this?

How can I make dyed black hair fade faster?

Wash it with baby shampoo. Why do you think babys has very soft fine hair, it strips hair of all its impurities, including haircolor.

How can I make dyed black hair fade faster?

sunlight.. .lots of it

How can I make dyed black hair fade faster?

you could die it..My mom did and it didnt damage her hair......I hope u lked my hlp.

How can I make dyed black hair fade faster?

Wash your hair oftent to soften the color, but it won't be able to remove it. You have to wait until it grows. You can also re dye your hair. My advice is work with it for as long as you have it. DRess yourself in a way that will complement you beautiful hair and self. Love Mk :)

How can I make dyed black hair fade faster?

wash your hair more often. But as you have light hair it will be slow and difficult.

How can I make dyed black hair fade faster?

wash it in prell every day

How can I make dyed black hair fade faster?

go get some PRELL shampoo, it will strip out the color faster than other shampoo's. there is also a product i think it's called "oops" or something like that. it strips the color out to your natural color and you should be able to re-color the same day or the next.

How can I make dyed black hair fade faster?

i would say to wash it as much as possible thats how my hair faded i had it brown died it black and it faded to almost brown now... you use those hair lighteners but it might damage your hair,i'd say u should just dye it :) hope it helps :)

How can I make dyed black hair fade faster?

One way...BLEACH. I had it dyed black b4 to make it healthier( it works), but then I got tired of the color so I decided to go red. I went to the salon and they wouldn't touch it%26gt;...They said it's too hard to get the black out and that it would get damaged, also that it will come off in patches. Well I did it on my own anyway. Get a strong and fast acting bleach, to minimize damage, let your hair turn to a dark blond or at least a light brown(make sure every strand is soaked with bleach so you wont get any patches) . Also if you don't let it get light enough it'll look blackish. Get your stuff from a sally's or those beauty shops

How can i keep my black hair from fading?

ok so i have hair almost at my waist and i dye it jet black but it tends to fade some. so what are some ways i keep keep my hair color from fading and make it stay as black as possible and also keep my waist length hair healthy. and also is the dove shampoo for darkened hair any good? and what other shampoos would be good for preventing my black from fading? and also i NEVER use a flat iron, curling iron, blow dryer or any other styling products on my hair at all

How can i keep my black hair from fading?

i use Sunsilk shampoo and conditioner..it's awesome and doesn't strip the hair like most alcohol based shampoos do..reason the color fades.

How can i keep my black hair from fading?

I have that problem too!

How can i keep my black hair from fading?

Use shampoo's that help maintain your color like the special Pantene shampoo, it keeps it from fading.I used it when i dyed my hair red, it works good.Oh and also dont shampoo everyday, do it every other day or so.*

How can i keep my black hair from fading?

Try Paul Mitchell shampoo and conditioner for color treated hair.

I have black hair with a few bleached streaks, Can I put black over them?

I have a few bleached strands of hair and I was wondering if my hair would turn blue or some other color if I try to put black dye over it. What kind of dye do I use? I thought something permanent would do, but im no professional by all means. Somebody told me to use something without amonia so it wont damage my hair. Help me!

I have black hair with a few bleached streaks, Can I put black over them?

Yes, you can, and it will turn black. Some permanent dyes these days have no ammonia in them, and will let you know by saying "no ammonia" on the box, as it is a new breakthrough with hair dye.

I have black hair with a few bleached streaks, Can I put black over them?

yea u kan but u kant but bleech over black

I have black hair with a few bleached streaks, Can I put black over them?

yes you can, but get a gentle hair color. be careful with black. it will be really really dark. maybe a med or dark brown.

Do red tips look good on black hair?

I have black hair and i think that it's getting way boring. Instead of doing red highlights though i was thinking of red TIPS because my friends red highlights quickly changed into a ugly bright orange and she couldn't just cut off all her hair. But would red be way too much or is red a good color. My skin is pretty tan so i dont know if the red would be good compared with my complexion.

Do red tips look good on black hair?

as a hairstyist, i would suggest that you go with peek-a-boo chunks in the interior of your hair instead of tips...(its been outdone) also, for better staying power, dont bleach your hair too long...bleach it just to orangy-gold. reds always fade quickly, but you can buy shampoos and conditioners with red pigments in them for extra staying power

Do red tips look good on black hair?

Yeah, sounds like it would be pretty hot. depends on your eyes though...

Do red tips look good on black hair?

no

Do red tips look good on black hair?

yeah, they look really cool.

Do red tips look good on black hair?

heck yes they are hot especially on black hair

Do red tips look good on black hair?

The red tip thing is getting kinda old. Do like blue or something. Everyone has red in their black hair, shake it up a little.

Do red tips look good on black hair?

yeah that should look great

Do red tips look good on black hair?

have fun with your hair !!!

Do red tips look good on black hair?

red looks nice with black hair.

Do red tips look good on black hair?

wwhy dont u just buy the red spray u can use on your hair that way it wont be permenant

Do red tips look good on black hair?

yes!!!it would look Awesome!!!!you should!

Do red tips look good on black hair?

why dont you try a very light brown red will be a good color but depends on the color and tone of the red but you should get it if you really want to more on the ends though because think about it if u dont like it you can cut it off at the ends

Do red tips look good on black hair?

yeah i think its cute, or get a semi die so its not perminate if you dont like it

Do red tips look good on black hair?

Yep I think it would look awesome. Before you have a professional do it you could get a washout dye and try it on yourself before hand. They sell these products at most departmant stores and salons, in the hair section.

Do red tips look good on black hair?

yah they would look fine

Do red tips look good on black hair?

I don't think it would look that good if it's really dark. Maybe if it's a more natural red. Plus, I don't think you should just put it at the tips of your hair I think you should have streaks.

Do red tips look good on black hair?

That is no longer in style girly. And what makes you think that if you dyed your tips red that they wouln't turn orange?

try google

http://www.google.com/search?client=fire...

Do red tips look good on black hair?

sounds like it would be awesome

Do red tips look good on black hair?

if your hair is long just have them put red on the ends of your hair maybe an inch or two from the bottom depending on how adventerous you are.

Do red tips look good on black hair?

COOL! Yeah! But if you get the same kind as bright orange friend get a dark red

Do red tips look good on black hair?

i don't like tips, but that's just a preference. keep in mind though, that red is the hardest color to keep up. it fades really easily, i would know. red is really pretty with black though.. i wouldn't get tips just because you can cut them off, i would do streaks, you just have to be commited to the upkeep. maybe you should think about a new style instead. that's always fun.

Do red tips look good on black hair?

absolutely i had a friend who had jet black hair and she put bright red tips on it it was cute and a lot of people liked it but it whatever you feel comfortable with

Do red tips look good on black hair?

Red or white tips on black hair gives your that goth look or vampire look.

I would depend on that natural beauty that you have rather than this shock look.

Do red tips look good on black hair?

Oh don't do that, please! I see that sort of thing a lot around here and I just don't think it looks good. Find the beauty in your hair colour, try different up-dos and the like.

Do red tips look good on black hair?

Like if you do a couple of inches like 2 it will be fine but i would suggest pink or blue because since you have tanish skin the red will kind of look bad with your complextion if it is blue it is lighter so it would be and same with pink. Well that is just my opinion it is your hair and you can decide what you want to do with it.

Do red tips look good on black hair?

all of the black hair and red tips that i have seen have looked fine. i think it would be ok even with your skin color

Do red tips look good on black hair?

no...brown tips is better

Do red tips look good on black hair?

Normally looks good together :)

i think they'd look hella tight!

"White" sun-tanning vs. "black" hair-straightening- Why is there an argument abo

No one will ever "turn black" by gettin' golden from sun-bathing. And no one will ever "turn white" from hair-straightening treatments.

And, for crying out loud, neither will ever get anyone accepted by either "black" culture or "white" culture. A black woman with straight hair is surely NOT going to get a "white ticket". And a white women can't be a "sista" simply by roasting in the sun. Nope, neither is going to happen... So why do we go on and on about "whites tan to be black" and "blacks straighten to be white"?

Why are we stuck in such a stupid rut? Why can't we just stop BS arguments like this and accept that people are just people who do things because, duh, they want to do things?

What's wrong with us? Why can't we accept each other?

"White" sun-tanning vs. "black" hair-straightening- Why is there an argument about the two?

some people just don't get it. i understand completely what you're saying.

yea uh, people don't simply "do things". we're all influenced by something. but you [someone above] are not getting what this person is asking and saying. anybody with common sense should be able to see that she isn't claiming that people don't try to be something they're not. after all, that's exactly what you're doing when you alter your appearance [you're changing yourself to have traits that you didn't have before]. uh, hellllo! that's not the point. the whole point of the question is to ask why people think black women straighten "to be white" and white women tan "to be black".

and excuse me, but anyone with a brain knows racism is why perms became popular. that's not the issue here. the issue is why are we still making these accusations? and it mostly isn't the white people doing it anymore. we're doing it to ourselves. the majority of white society has accepted "ethnic" hair and whatever people want to do with it. we, black people, are the ones who are turning gray over this nonsense. why? correct me if i'm wrong, Action, but i think what i'm saying is sort of where you were going with this question.

and yes the curly hair arguement does make sense. do you see any whites accusing each other of trying to be black just because they get curls in their hair, or any black people either? no. no one accuses the white people of this, and that's what i think she's trying to say [that for some reason people are stuck on making hair accusations to black women just like they're stuck on making accusations about tanning to white women].

i sure am glad that at least SOME people understand what you [asker] are saying.

"White" sun-tanning vs. "black" hair-straightening- Why is there an argument about the two?

Obviously nobody looked at the link... Blacks are constantly sold the same image, still today. All the images you see of perm boxes are of less ethnic women. Not only with straighter hair, but lighter skin. It's embedded in African American culture. Report It

"White" sun-tanning vs. "black" hair-straightening- Why is there an argument about the two?

The "White Image" of beauty is constantly being sold to them and they are BUYING into it. It's not the same as the tanning example OR the curly perm example because white women have never been asked to assimilate. What would they be assimilating to? Report It

"White" sun-tanning vs. "black" hair-straightening- Why is there an argument about the two?

I understand the argument, but if you don't look at the history of perms and how litte the images of American beauty has changed, you will see that you cannot compare perms to tanning, at all. It doesn't make sense. period. Report It

"White" sun-tanning vs. "black" hair-straightening- Why is there an argument about the two?

However, let me note that i does not have to be a conscious decision, but iis still the harsh reality of African American culture:

http://youtube.com/watch?v=17f...

Not the best example, but you get the point, right Report It

"White" sun-tanning vs. "black" hair-straightening- Why is there an argument about the two?

By the way, your arguement is extremely is simple minded. Try looking at African American advertising in a historical context, it'll add more depth to your argument. Report It

"White" sun-tanning vs. "black" hair-straightening- Why is there an argument about the two?

we cannot accept ourselves.

"White" sun-tanning vs. "black" hair-straightening- Why is there an argument about the two?

because people are looking for something to argue about. your right about this %26amp; its not only BS but its childish. this is why other contries look down upon us do to this childish high standards %26amp; the pity raicsim still going around. but im black %26amp; i dont like my hair being curly when its long, honestly i dont know where that statement about trying to be white came from but that is just plain ignorant. if i have my afro out thats sumthing different then me wantin my hair straight for a new style. come on now people

"White" sun-tanning vs. "black" hair-straightening- Why is there an argument about the two?

People like to nit pick over every little thing.

"White" sun-tanning vs. "black" hair-straightening- Why is there an argument about the two?

I completely agree with you. Who cares?? But I can say that I'm sick of hearing black people on here say that white people are trying to look more "black".LOL...I always laugh my a*s off when I hear that. Because last time I checked, black women are not and never have been considered the standard of beauty...sorry. Unless we are speaking of the wiggers. That's a whole other issue. Yes they are sad, pathetic, posers of which neither race respects.

"White" sun-tanning vs. "black" hair-straightening- Why is there an argument about the two?

#24-Black women are beautiful no matter what these white folks say. Yes a standard of beauty created by white folks for white folks. To hell with their standard of beauty. Beauty comes in many shades and shapes. Sad enough white people don't accept other forms of beauty, other than their own.

"White" sun-tanning vs. "black" hair-straightening- Why is there an argument about the two?

i have no idea personally i find it rather amusing. the lengths folks will go to prove that they have nothing in common with this group or that never ceases to amaze. it seems that humanity and logic have never made good bed-fellows so if for nothing else i might as well get a good laugh out of it now

"White" sun-tanning vs. "black" hair-straightening- Why is there an argument about the two?

Yeah... people tend to make mountains out of molehills. People just do things because, in general, we all want what we can't have. I don't think it's necessarily a black or white thing either... Redheads want to be blonde, curly-haired people want to straighten, chubby girls want to be thin, thin girls want curves... the list goes on. It's just human nature...

I agree with you that people should not judge others and act like someone's going to lose their ethnicity over a change like that

"White" sun-tanning vs. "black" hair-straightening- Why is there an argument about the two?

People don't simply "do things". There is a reason why people want to tan and why people want to relax their hair. And there is a reason why it's popular, and much of it is emulating something that you are not.

Personally, I don't know why tanning became popular, but I do know that perms became popular due to racism and assimilation. Which is why rejection of assimilation came in style with the Afro and Black Power/Black is Beautiful Mov't, and why some black Americans choose not to relax their hair. However, I believe relaxers are so embedded in African American culture that it's not simply a "desire" to look less ethnic. But that's where the argument stands...

Your curly hair arguement doesn't make sense.

LOL!

very well said :)

"White" sun-tanning vs. "black" hair-straightening- Why is there an argument about the two?

You make some valid points. As for Linda B., Obviously, you have not been very many places or seen very many people. Beauty exists in all races. It is most narrow minded and superficial to suggest that there is one measuring stick that defines beauty the world over.

"White" sun-tanning vs. "black" hair-straightening- Why is there an argument about the two?

It's really sad.

"White" sun-tanning vs. "black" hair-straightening- Why is there an argument about the two?

It's because some people have no lives and are willing to complain over anything. I don't know why this topic is even mentioned anymore.

"White" sun-tanning vs. "black" hair-straightening- Why is there an argument about the two?

what? my friends black daughter straightens her hair because she doesn't like her curls not to be white. And why would people tan so they can be black? You need some professional help and soon.

"White" sun-tanning vs. "black" hair-straightening- Why is there an argument about the two?

I never did understand that how tanning was synonymous with "wanting to be black." when I heard that on here, I was very amused. I wasn't surprised that black people would claim that.

"White" sun-tanning vs. "black" hair-straightening- Why is there an argument about the two?

agree with ceasarmo....

I have black hair but I want to take care of my hair to the fullest?

I am a black women who wears my hair in braids. I am thinking bout changing it up by keeping it out of braids just for a change. I want to know how to keep my hair growing and looking healthy like how to treat it proper. I just need a good technique thats easy for a daily routine basis. I had my hair relaxed befor but that was long time ago and my hair kinda got damage by all the chemicals.

I have black hair but I want to take care of my hair to the fullest?

I have stopped relaxing my hair and have gone natural for a year and 6 months. I use carrot oil and olive oil cream. I use those daily for moisture. I wash my hair once a week. Any more then that my hair gets really dry. I use a deep conditioner treatment once a month. Or you can make your own out of avocado and coconut milk. Also at night I wrap my hair with the olive oil cream and a satin cloth. I hope this helps. Also check out

I have black hair but I want to take care of my hair to the fullest?

Well, I like Hairobic Products. You can find these at beauty supply. There a little expensive, but well worth the price. I use the shampoo, conditioner and hair dress. I like them because they smell like peppermint and contain jojoba oil.

Another good one to try is Pantene Relaxed %26amp; Natural for Women of Color. The moisturizing shampoo, conditioner, and oil cream moisturizer all work quite well.

Between these two products I've been very pleased with the condition of my hair.

Hope this helps.

You should get a professional stylist to start with. One who has many years experience with proper hair care. After a while your hair will become trained and very manageable. This will make it easier for you to do yourself. After a while you won't have to go to the salon as much and you will learn some tricks from the stylist to style your own hair. Good luck!!!

Do you think dying your hair black looks fake?

right now i have darkish brown hair but i have black eyebrows.

i want to go blonde [in which case i would dye my eyebrows lighter] but if the hair person says it would be a good idea i would want to dye my hair black.

but when i have seen people with dyed black hair it always look fake to me.

what do you guys think?

i really have no idea what i want to do with my hair.

i want to get it cut but then sometimes i don't want to.

i have no idea how i would want to get it cut or what color i should dye it %26amp; what color i should dye the tips.

Do you think dying your hair black looks fake?

Dying your hair black looks fake but black hair tends to fade quickly.

Do you think dying your hair black looks fake?

how does it look fake??? ppl with both dyed and natural black hair look the same. ppl with purple and other colored hair look unnatural.

Do you think dying your hair black looks fake?

just dye your eyebrows the closest color that your hair is now so that they will match. its easier to have fake looking eyebrows that a whole head of fake looking hair.

Do you think dying your hair black looks fake?

no.black is bueatiful

Do you think dying your hair black looks fake?

unless your black or asian... black looks too unnatural. try a really dark brown. and put redish brown or auburn highlights. it looks good without being too over done.

Do you think dying your hair black looks fake?

Not in all cases no. But if you have very pale skin in some cases it may look fake.

If your eyebrows are also black it will look much more believable. Make sure you get it died at the hairdressers though, don't do it on your own.

Do you think dying your hair black looks fake?

if you have black eyebrows (so do I) dont dye your whole head blonde! Jet black looks fake.....go for a soft black! Then since you cant really decide do both colors........do blonde bangs with blonde streaks.......I have done my hair like this several times...and it always looks great!!! If you plan on doing it yourself Loreal "Chunking" highlight kit is the best blonde that I have found that matches with black hair......just make sure you leave it on long enough so your hair is not orange!

Do you think dying your hair black looks fake?

if u dont know what to dye

i would get a cut first.

if your looking for an edgy-scene-emo-ish kinda look

i would go with a dramatic bang and layers

also tips are sorta out so dont go with that

and try not to die your eyebrows really really light

cuz they tend to 'dissappear'

or that sort of allusion

%26lt;3

Do you think dying your hair black looks fake?

well really u shoud have posted a picture of your hair but, yes i think black hair does look fake inless its natural.. if youre really going to dye ur hair black then add some dark brown highlights to off set the jet black. ((make it look more natural))

Do you think dying your hair black looks fake?

You are just looking for a change.

Don't go too light, or too dark.

Either way will look fake. The

dye is only one color...most people

have several different colors, within

their own natural hair color. The best

effect, is usually one, where low-lites

and high-lites are both used. Your

hair dresser just wants to get paid...

Don't listen to her. Choose what you

want and stick to that. There are lots

of books about hair styles and color..

read a few, and see if you can find

what it is, you are trying to accomplish.

Do you think dying your hair black looks fake?

It really all depends on your skin tone. If you have a cool pale, or a cool darker skin tone, then I'd say go ahead and dye your hair black.

But if you have a warm skin tone, or if you have a skin tone that's kind of reddish [like it looks like you're always blushing] then I wouldn't dye my hair black, if I were you.

If you do have a warm skin tone, then you should stick to golden blonde. If you have a more reddish skin tone, then you should dye your hair ash blonde.

In short, black hair only looks "fake" on people who don't have the right skin tone for it.

Hope this helps. ^^

Do you think dying your hair black looks fake?

Black hair is unnatural, unless you have blends of natural black hair already mixed in with your dark brown hair. I would go blonde. I am not a hairdresser, but from my experience, dyed black hair normally exudes a Gothic look or a mysterious look. If that's what you're going for, do your thing. If your looking for a natural and refreshing change, go with blond. Consider highlighting your hair while still keeping your natural brown hair. Then you wouldn't have to dye your eyebrows unless you deemed it necessary. Good luck! :)

Do you think dying your hair black looks fake?

Well I hate it when really pale people dye their hair Black, I seriously think it makes them look dead or sick or something. I got a slightly tanned skin and I dyed my hair black after having it blonde the summer before and it looked really nice. Light browns are really out this season. You should dye your hair a shade of honey with very thin golden highlights and some thin darker brown low lights, I think it'll look real cute. For the cut, angled bobs are so out and they look modern. I thinking of getting bob cut myself soon. Checkout this website ; they have so many styles and colors, I'm sure you'll find something you'll like. www.beautyriot.com

Do you think dying your hair black looks fake?

it depends on your skin colour complexion eg dont do it if u are very pale white with feckles. otherwise suits most people.

however instead of jet black i would opt for a darker brown rather than total black.

having had my hair many colours i think black was one of the best

Do you think dying your hair black looks fake?

nahh. im dying my hair black soon

Two toned hair for naturally black hair?

ok so i tried dying half my hair black cherry from revlon....and well my hair is still black... im not sure what i did wrong. could it be that i didnt leave it in long enough? or is it the brand? or should i leave it alone for awhile and hopefully thecolor will show? ive never colored my own hair before so im not entirely sure of what im doing

Two toned hair for naturally black hair?

i'd just get it done professionally. it's hard to dye over black hair, so products from a department store probably aren't strong enough.

when i had black hair, i tried even BLEACHES to get it lighter, and that barely worked. but the salon got it really really blonde. so i'd just get it done professionally.

Two toned hair for naturally black hair?

well your hair is black... its hard to chage the color immediatly!

dont worry i face the samw problem

Two toned hair for naturally black hair?

Dark hair is difficult to color. If its black then the only way to see any color would be by lightening it. Which I wouldnt do with box color. I would go to a salon. Box color is difficult to control. Good luck!

Two toned hair for naturally black hair?

It could be that your hair is too dark...alot of times people have to lighten their darker hair and then add color for any color to show.

Two toned hair for naturally black hair?

Maybe you didnt leave it in long enough? I also have black natural hair and i dye it myself with Garnier hair dye and without bleaching it turns brown. So I guess you dont always have to bleach.. anyways good luck

Why is it that white people have varying hair types/colors and eye colors, yet all black people seem

For instance, some white people have curly hair, some have wavy hair, some have straight hair, e.t.c. Likewise, their hair color ranges from blond to black, and their eye colors can range from black to brown to green to blue. Yet for the most part it seems like all black people seem to have curly black hair and black or brown eyes. I realize that this is probably due to a high concentration of melanin which contributes to skin color as much as it does the color of eyes and hair, but then why is it that white people can have high concentrations of melanin in certain areas, i.e. brown hair and eyes, yet still have less pigmented (light) skin? And why is the hair type is so restricted among black people and yet so varied among white people? Like some white people have curly hair and others have straight hair, but yet it seems like all black people have curly black hair.

Me and my friend want to dye our hair black?

We really want black hair! =)

I have fair skin, kinda light tan.

My friend has fair skin too, but lighter than me.

Do you think we could pull of black hair?

Me and my friend want to dye our hair black?

Definitely go for it! Black hair is awesome, especially since mine is dyed black. :]

I have natural dark brown hair, and fair skin. And I pull it off great! %26lt;3

Me and my friend want to dye our hair black?

oh cool!!!!!

Me and my friend want to dye our hair black?

nope. what color is your hair now. don't make it black. ughhh. just don't

Me and my friend want to dye our hair black?

Go for it

Me and my friend want to dye our hair black?

If you want to look like Morticia Adams then yes; go for it.

Me and my friend want to dye our hair black?

No, I think it would look totally emo and dumb.

Me and my friend want to dye our hair black?

i think light brown looks so much nicer

then custy gina

Me and my friend want to dye our hair black?

please go to a salon and have it done if you do.

Me and my friend want to dye our hair black?

black hair is all the rage

Me and my friend want to dye our hair black?

I think it would make you look really pale and maybe kinda goth.

Me and my friend want to dye our hair black?

your hair will turn gray when you wash it out i wouldent do it

Me and my friend want to dye our hair black?

hell yes. I am asian and have very fair skin. I LOVE my jet black, blue black, hair. Its hot!

Me and my friend want to dye our hair black?

Maybe.

I can't really say without a picture, though.

I think since your skin's kind of tan, it might.

As a fair warning, when you dye your hair black, it takes about a week to fade into a more natural looking black.

Me and my friend want to dye our hair black?

Of course. You might look a little gothic tho.

Me and my friend want to dye our hair black?

Hey if thats what you want them go for it. im kind of pale and i dyed my hair dark brown and it turned out good. i couldn't pull off black hair though.

Me and my friend want to dye our hair black?

If you want to look goth, then sure.

Me and my friend want to dye our hair black?

yeah it'll be fun for you guys =]

Me and my friend want to dye our hair black?

yeah deff thats cool i like black hair

Me and my friend want to dye our hair black?

how funny... i'm contemplating going blonde. and platinum blonde at that.

i guess part of the human condition is never being truly satisfied with the way we are, huh?

have fun, but don't forget the eyebrows!

Me and my friend want to dye our hair black?

Probably. I dye my hair black but I'm pretty tanned. My friend is really fair though and he pulls it off

Me and my friend want to dye our hair black?

Yea.

sounds good.

personally.

everyone looks good with black hair.

aha.

I'm sure you guys could pull it off.

so

wth. go for it%26lt;

lol

Me and my friend want to dye our hair black?

Only one way to know is to try it. You can always go back.

Me and my friend want to dye our hair black?

Before you dye, try on a wig, put in streaks, or if you have really light hair, try a shade of brown. This should give you a good idea of what you will look like with darker hair.

Me and my friend want to dye our hair black?

i think it would look better a dark brown because u said u have fair skin and i dont thinkit would look right being to dark but what ever u do good luck:)

Me and my friend want to dye our hair black?

theres only two people at my school who did that, one wears way too much eyeliner, and the other is a conceited punk. I think you should keep your color.

Me and my friend want to dye our hair black?

hey!

thats cool

and just remember, its just HAIR it will grow back and it IS ur hair!!

do wat u want wit it, ull like it!

Me and my friend want to dye our hair black?

You could, but you'd have to invest your money in an expensive brand so you won't get a blue undertone. DON'T use Granier or L'oreal because their hairdyes are known for causing extreme acne and other problems.

Me and my friend want to dye our hair black?

of course by wat ur telling me just try it on in the mirror and see if u like it but by wat ur telling me definitly try it out

Me and my friend want to dye our hair black?

Something to think about: when you're tired of black, you'll have to strip the color from your hair comletely and dye it a natural hair color until your hair grows back naturally, It looks weird, dry and damaged as a result.

Me and my friend want to dye our hair black?

I think the Brown hair looks way better then if you dyed it black. People that have black hair usual dye there hair brown, so you are already one step ahead of them. Keep it Brown.

Me and my friend want to dye our hair black?

I think it would look good, but instead of really a dark, jet black you could go a little lighter!

Is dyeing black oriental hair harmful to the condition of the hair?

I have straight black hair and thinking of adding colour to my hair. Does this mean i have to bleach my hair before adding colour? Are there any colours that i can dye into my hair without using bleach? i was thinking purple maybe pink?

Is dyeing black oriental hair harmful to the condition of the hair?

nope, there's nothing wrong with mine!

Is dyeing black oriental hair harmful to the condition of the hair?

you can get purple tones wthout bleaching, but it will be dark purple. To get pink, you will have to bleach and it will damage your hair. Bleaching makes it more porous. However, if done correctly, the damage can be managed.

Is dyeing black oriental hair harmful to the condition of the hair?

I am a professional haircolorist...You can color your hair without using bleach and without causing any damage. However, to create vibrant unnatural tones like pink and purple you would have to bleach it to a very light pale yellow blonde. If you don't lighten your hair enough the color you choose will be dull, and will not last long at all. You can bleach your hair without damaging it---if your hair is healthy. Of course it will compromise the integrity of the hair a bit....it's still gonna be shiny and look good though. Do it! I love the contrast of the colors.

Is dyeing black oriental hair harmful to the condition of the hair?

no aslong as you keep the hair oiled and get deep conditioners. The aphogee treatment is good for minority people. I have used it and got great results.

Is dyeing black oriental hair harmful to the condition of the hair?

You don't have to bleach to color hair. And dying hair is damaging no matter what. You can dye your hair any color.

Is dyeing black oriental hair harmful to the condition of the hair?

no matter what color you dye your hair, as long as you dye it it will harm the condition of it and it is very hard to fix it.

Is dyeing black oriental hair harmful to the condition of the hair?

Anytime you dye your hair (whether or not you pre-lighten) it will damage your hair. Most fashion colours do require pre-lightening first to be seen on your hair colour. Permanent, demi-permanent, and semi-permanent will all lighten your hair anywhere from 1-4 shades depending on the level of the developer. If you do pre-lighten I recommend applying a layer of a light leave-in conditioner before applying the colour, this will help minimize the damage.

Is dyeing black oriental hair harmful to the condition of the hair?

ANY HAIR DYE IS HARMFUL TO THE HAIR IF NOT APPLIED AND CONDITIONED PROPERLY

Is dyeing black oriental hair harmful to the condition of the hair?

I would suggest Wella Magma. It lifts and colors all in one process. I have seen great results on Asian hair for adding a touch of color here and there and/or large sections.

Is dyeing black oriental hair harmful to the condition of the hair?

Please dint do that because if you do you will be looking like a leprechaun your will turn green. You need to slowly die you hair first start by dyeing your hair with a color not a high volume color a color that's close to what you want and then work your way up to the color you desire over time but please don't bleach or start pink it only make you hair fall out or make you look like a fool.

Is dyeing black oriental hair harmful to the condition of the hair?

u should ask ur hair styleist

Is dyeing black oriental hair harmful to the condition of the hair?

Why dye your hair unless it's BLONDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!???

Is dyeing black oriental hair harmful to the condition of the hair?

use the bleach . . I dare ya.

Is dyeing black oriental hair harmful to the condition of the hair?

Yeah go for pink that is a great color

Is dyeing black oriental hair harmful to the condition of the hair?

No it really helps if your black or any other color like blonde.

Is dyeing black oriental hair harmful to the condition of the hair?

Ask a professional

Is dyeing black oriental hair harmful to the condition of the hair?

ask a professional

Is dyeing black oriental hair harmful to the condition of the hair?

That's not bleaching or harming your hair it's just adding color to what you've already got. Use a good conditioner though...I like Pantene Sleek and Slim....it makes your hair silky.

Is dyeing black oriental hair harmful to the condition of the hair?

no. ***** i dyed my hair black and put red dye. it stayed in for a whole year(i like saying *****.)sorry

Blue black hair die tips?

ok my boy friend wants me to die his hair blue black but he wants it permanent. is there a particular brand that has a blue black where the blue really stands out not just in bright sunlight. he has dirty blind hair and he wants me to die it so can anyone help me with tips and brands.

Blue black hair die tips?

there is a permanent color that is blue black.i think its by clairol but you have to go to a beauty supply store to get it b/c ive never seen it at drug stores but anyways the blue wont stand out unless his head it around light so you can see it blue but youll barely see it when there is ittle light around.

Stop dying my hair and leaving it natural black?

For the last two years, I've dyed my hair red with those dyes bought at the stores. It showed up sometimes...but not a lot. It also fades really quickly..so much that it barely shows. From afar it just looks black, upclose dark brown, and inthe sun, reddish. With all this dying....it's also damaging my hair alot.

I'm asian and have natural black hair. Should I keep on dying it with hair store dyes (giving it a tint of red/brown) or leave my hair naturally black?

Stop dying my hair and leaving it natural black?

I am also an asian with natural black hair and I have dyed my hair reddish brown before. It showed because I did it at a salon. But it also damaged my hair and I have since decided to leave my hair naturally black. No matter how nice is the color, your hair wont look nice if it is not healthy.

Stop dying my hair and leaving it natural black?

Sooner or later, you're going to go back to natural anyway. Why not make it now.

Natural color is always the best.

Stop dying my hair and leaving it natural black?

I like natural hair color! And your fortunate its black, beautiful! Was curious how often you bleeched/dye your hair in the past two years and if its damaged, leave it alone, until it is restored, use a good conditioner, hot oil treatment. But give it a break until the damage has grown out and consult an hair stylist before continuing, you have to bleech it before applying any color and I would not recommend that if damage is showing and you may end up with a carrot-top color which then you will have to visit an stylist, anyway. Good-Luck!

Stop dying my hair and leaving it natural black?

if you still like the red, how about switching to red streaks/highlights? to get the red to stay, try bleaching it to an orange color, then add the red. You could also try the red color depositing shampoos. Try Sally's Beauty, they have a great Clairol Professional shampoo/conditioner for red heads. It's about $10 a bottle.

You can also get your red dyes at Sally's for cheaper than the boxed stuff. Mix 10 vol developer with the dye. With the bleach, mix 30 or 40 vol developer (since your natural hair color is so dark) with a bleach packet before adding the red)

Lemon juice on dark brown/black hair?

does lemon juice work on dark brown/black hair??? has anyone tried it?

Lemon juice on dark brown/black hair?

yes..i tried it in its pure form....it doesn't do anything to dark hair but make it sticky..its mostly the combination of blonde hair lemon juice peroxide and the sun that actually lightens hair...lemon juice is just highly acidic with a ph of around 2.0 so it can be clarifying to the skin or remove buildup from the hair .......

Lemon juice on dark brown/black hair?

i would use a product like "sun-in" or "touch-of-sun" instead. it may work a little better. beware though, on dark hair it will give you more reddish highlights. you have to actually dye your hair if you want blonde.

What is the best brand of permanent black hair dye that wont fade?

i need to know the best brand of black hair dye that is the most resistant to fadeing and i know that i should go to a hair dresser or stylist or whatever but i am by no means at all a rich person and can not afford to so please dont recomend that but from your own expierence what is the best at home brand of hair dye that will not fade and also what are the worst brands that are the most prone to fadeing thanks

What is the best brand of permanent black hair dye that wont fade?

Dark and Lovely

it last it really lasts for 3 months before retouches

but I'm African American and our hair texture is different

so if your Anglo and wash your hair everyday it will fade

i wash my hair once a week so there is a difference.

good luck on your hair color success oh try FEIRIA by Loreal black leather it lasts a long time too

What is the best brand of permanent black hair dye that wont fade?

google it

What is the best brand of permanent black hair dye that wont fade?

Natural match - the new one with the little mirror works really well and to cover new roots that are onry - my hairdresser told me to leave it on an extra 10 minutes and it won't hurt your hair. Use the mirror on the box to match or pick the shade you want by holding up to your skin to see if you'll like it or not. It runs about $10 at Walmart - watch for coupons in the papers - someone always have them on sale! - Good luck!

What is the best brand of permanent black hair dye that wont fade?

I have colored my hair black for about 13 years now. Black does not fade at all, your roots just grow. It all depends what type of black you want too. Brown-black, blue-black or just black. If you want Japanese anime blue tinted black, I recommend Garnier 100% Color Blue Black. It's a really pretty, shiny blue black, but will lose some of the luster after a couple of weeks. If you want a natural looking black, not a stark black, try Loreal Natural Match in Brown Black. If you want just a standard black, Feria by Loreal in Starry Night, is a very shiny bright black, and from my experience, retains its shine for a long time. Yay! No blondes! Black all the way! I say go for blue black, it's the coolest!

What is the best brand of permanent black hair dye that wont fade?

Clairol Nice 'n Easy (Color Code 122/Natural Black). It's cheap (less than $10) and just about any drugstore or Wal-Mart carries it. One tip though, don't get the dye on the counter around the sink or on the walls/carpet/floor...it will stain and never come out. Also, buy some rubber kitchen gloves. The gloves that come in the box are crappy and the seams will split. Once this happens, your fingers will get dye on them and be purple for a few days.

Ok so im asain & i have naturally black hair and i really want to dye it like blondeish white li

so im asain %26amp; i have naturally black hair and i really want to dye it like blondeish white like avril lavignes new hair i tried bleaching it .than it turned orange blonde is it possible to make it the hair color i wish for help!

Ok so im asain %26amp; i have naturally black hair and i really want to dye it like blondeish white like avril lavig

go 2 a good salon, and ask them 2 do it 4 u, it might cost a bit more but theyll do it properly..

Ok so im asain %26amp; i have naturally black hair and i really want to dye it like blondeish white like avril lavig

U'll have to do it stages. First u'll need 2 go darkish brown, then light brown, then light blonde. Make sure u get it done at the hairdressers tho.

Ok so im asain %26amp; i have naturally black hair and i really want to dye it like blondeish white like avril lavig

I would definitly go to a salon...if you dont you risk severly damaging your hair to the point were no one will be able to help you. A stylist can mix an match the bleach in a way to match your hair depending on how light you want it etc. plus if your going blonde all over you have to bleach the ends first then the hair closer to your scalp last because your body heat from your head speeds up the bleaching process. you could end up with white roots and dark ends! yes please seek professional help.

Ok so im asain %26amp; i have naturally black hair and i really want to dye it like blondeish white like avril lavig

I personaly think it would look bad.

Ok so im asain %26amp; i have naturally black hair and i really want to dye it like blondeish white like avril lavig

ugghh.. dont... you'll look like a golden monkey. asian skin and blonde CLASH.

Ok so im asain %26amp; i have naturally black hair and i really want to dye it like blondeish white like avril lavig

Unless you have really really pale skin, i wouldn't advise this! Blonde doesn't normally suit asian skin colour. However, if you went for a dark brown or hazlenut colour, that would look really nice.

Oh, and i'm asian by the way!

Ok so im asain %26amp; i have naturally black hair and i really want to dye it like blondeish white like avril lavig

go to the salon to fix it.

Ok so im asain %26amp; i have naturally black hair and i really want to dye it like blondeish white like avril lavig

yes it it you have to bleach it but this time go to a salon and hve them do it,get it done by a pro

brunette - a person having brown or black hair and usually a relatively dark complexion.

so i say ur a brunette :)

Does anyone know a good "burgundy black" hair dye??

i just dyed my hair for the first time and i used Feria boxed dye called deep burgundy brown. i like it but can already tell that its going to be to red for me, and i really like the burgundy black but cant find who makes it, because i see burgundy browns everywhere, but am looking for the black/purple tint to come through more than the red. any info or suggestions would be great!!

Does anyone know a good "burgundy black" hair dye??

Try loreal feria's midnight ruby!

Does anyone know a good "burgundy black" hair dye??

Sry no

I just permed n dyed my hair black can sumone help me....?

ok iam going back in 2 weeks time to highlight my hair i was wondering if anyone have a good idea n which color highlight would look nice on black hair maybe honeybrown, ect iam not sure or should i do streaks???

I just permed n dyed my hair black can sumone help me....?

I actually think a reddish brown would look really nice......... maybe an Auburn?

I just permed n dyed my hair black can sumone help me....?

You permed and dyed it in the same sitting? DAMN. You need to do some deep conditioning until you go back. If I were you, maybe some hot oil treatments and maybe even set your appointment further!

I just permed n dyed my hair black can sumone help me....?

Cherry red highlights would look cool.

I just permed n dyed my hair black can sumone help me....?

Streaks are cute but the color depends on your skin tone. Discuss it with you beautician they are usually good about picking colors that go with the skin color.

I just permed n dyed my hair black can sumone help me....?

burgandy

I just permed n dyed my hair black can sumone help me....?

Burgundy highlights

I just permed n dyed my hair black can sumone help me....?

I hope u didnt do this at the same time because you wont have any hair if you did.........

I just permed n dyed my hair black can sumone help me....?

I would do a very light platinum blonde look.....or no streaks at all. Classic tones are always the best........highlights are so 1997

I just permed n dyed my hair black can sumone help me....?

you'll have to have her bleach it first, then tone it with a color. The first time you do after the black dye it won't come out the same color as it should as all the dye won't get pulled out. Go for a "carmel" color.

I just permed n dyed my hair black can sumone help me....?

Wait a while and let your hair rest. You could destroy it by doing another process right now.

I just permed n dyed my hair black can sumone help me....?

red highlights would look good

either red or blonde streaks would also look good..

it is up to you what you think would look best

ask your hair dresser for his/her opinion

good luck

but don't do it too soon, your hair will feel

fried and dead

best solution use leav in conditioner

and some hot oil treatments..one or the other

and push your other hair appontment back

I just permed n dyed my hair black can sumone help me....?

I have black hair and please don't highlight it will kill Ur hair and if u really want to anyways do underlight's of Carmel,or a burg red it will look more natual also u'll save ur hair(check out camren diaz, audrey H,love there undertones

I just permed n dyed my hair black can sumone help me....?

honey red would look good

I just permed n dyed my hair black can sumone help me....?

Black is a very dark color....(duh Kimmie)...I would not go with very light highlights....or it will look funny. I would try to go a few shades lighter than your current hair color. Maybe something that would set off the black but very settle...ask your stylists opinion on this as well and go with what you like...after all, you are the one who has to live with it...so best to get what you like than what other's like....good luck and I am sure it will come out gorgeous!

I just permed n dyed my hair black can sumone help me....?

WOW, I think you did too much already, your killing your hair. Did you just say you permed and dyed your hair. OMG, and in two weeks your putting in highlights. BYE BYE hair, honey that's not good for your hair. Seriously, unless your a trained professional and you know exactly what your doing, then that's fine. But even most hairdressers know, that this is just bad business doing all of that to your hair. Do what you want, you will anyway, I'm just giving you some good advice. If you don't want to listen to me, call your local salon and ask them the regular time frame between perms, coloring and re-coloring. Then ask them if your hair will fall out if you continue to do this and see what they say. I'm not lying, I'm trying to help. Just wait the 4 to 6 weeks, until you put another color in. Please. If not best of luck, anyway!

I just permed n dyed my hair black can sumone help me....?

honey brown or even honey will look nice on black hair.... but if u do them too light you might end up looking pale...talk to your hairstylist...

I just permed n dyed my hair black can sumone help me....?

i'm just hoping your hair doesn't fall out. my hair stylist has drilled into my head that you wait 2 weeks between each treatment...if it were my hair, i'd be waiting longer than another 2 weeks if i had just permed and colored. these treatments can be really damaging to your hair.

Does anyone know how i could colour my black hair?

my hair is naturally black, but i want to colour it a lighter colour. ive tried using loads of hair dyes but it doesnt work. my friend said i have to bleach my hair first. but what kind of bleach does anyone know which one i could use that will help me dye my hair?

Does anyone know how i could colour my black hair?

I LOVE (VERY) Black Hair so just Leave YOUr Hair TOTALLY ALONE !

Does anyone know how i could colour my black hair?

Go to a hairdressers and get in done properly or it will probably end up falling out or turn green!

Does anyone know how i could colour my black hair?

Just colour them. its very simple..

Does anyone know how i could colour my black hair?

do it urself wid a good product or ur hair will change in texture. like it will become rough

use good products

or go to the salon!

Does anyone know how i could colour my black hair?

ull need to buy acolourwitha lightener in or get it pre lightened b4 putting dye on

Does anyone know how i could colour my black hair?

You can try dye that says it will dye and lighten your hair like Schwarzkopf LIVE they are really good.

(look for the ones that say they will lighten as well as dye some are just dye)

Does anyone know how i could colour my black hair?

i wanted to do the same thing with a difference that my black hair was dyed so its much harder to lighten

but possible

i bleached it twice than i put a light brown on it, it was a long procedure i started to get rid of the black hair about a year and a half ago now i have a lovely dark blond, also it damaged my hair

but because u have natural black hair it shouldn't be this difficult but i still suggest u go to a salon to avoid damage to your hair

good luck

Does anyone know how i could colour my black hair?

any bleach is good. but only use it if your hair is healthy because it can break down your hair. to dye black hair you can go get it professionally done but sometimes that doesn't even work if you don't bleach it first. so best would be to bleach then dye it another color. try to avoid dyeing it alot right after each dye because that can kill your hair.

Does anyone know how i could colour my black hair?

If i were you i'd go to the hair dressers to get it bleached first...

I've tried to bleach my own hair twice and have ended up with an uneven blonde tone with ginger patches!!..

after your hair has been bleached you can dye your hair any colour..just make sure you're using a good conditioner

=D

Does anyone know how i could colour my black hair?

Honey don't panic. You do have to lighten it first to color it because it is black. You can have it professionally done, that way you can be sure that nothing is gonna go wrong and the color you're looking for will be the color you get. Don't be one of those kitchen color people you see on here all the time asking why their hair is falling out after they just soaked it in peroxide for three hours. You'll be fine, just go to a salon. They know what their doing.

Does anyone know how i could colour my black hair?

Your key words here are you have 'USED LOADS of HAIR DYES'....Your hair can only take so much color and It will just be ruined. Honestly your next step should be making an appointment with a professional and let her see and test your hair and see if maybe she can help you get the results you want ...providing your hair can take another chemical. Be honest with the stylist as she will be able to feel your hair for damage

Does anyone know how i could colour my black hair?

you would have to use a pre-lightener first so i'd go to a salon to have this done better to pay a little extra than make a mistake...

Does anyone know how i could colour my black hair?

dont do it! go to a hairdressers its worth the money if you start messing with bleach your hair will be in a very bad condition and with repeated beaching it could fall out ....it happend to me and i ended up with a super short mullet for 2 years waiting for it to grow out it was horendus!

go to a salon or if u want a cheap change try red it looks great in dark hair

Does anyone know how i could colour my black hair?

Bleaching very dark hair is not something I would advise anyone to do themselves.

I'm a hairdresser and have seen many people with orange hair cos the bleach you buy in Boots is simply not powerful enough. My advice would be to get it done proffessionally and really don't try to do it yourself. Chances are you will need it bleaching and then toning or tinting depending on what colour you want it.

But please, please don't try this yourself cos it could go horribly wrong.

Does anyone know how i could colour my black hair?

Go to the hairdresser and experiment with different color wigs and the colour that satisfies you, tell your hairdresser to dye your hair.

How to get rid of dyed black hair?

I used a permanent soft brown on my hair around september of last year but i left it on too long and it turned black. it hasnt faded at all. my hair isnt in bad shape, its naturally wavy and a little poofy. should i go to a salon and beg them to change it or go get a kit? =/

How to get rid of dyed black hair?

bleach IT

How to get rid of dyed black hair?

bleach.

How to get rid of dyed black hair?

black hair is sexyyy

How to get rid of dyed black hair?

shave it.

How to get rid of dyed black hair?

The key word here is "permanent". Do you know what that means? It means it is not going to fade, yeh, no kidding. You will have to cut it off to get rid of it and let this be a lesson to you.

How to get rid of dyed black hair?

You can buy a color stripping kit and then redye it, but to be sure that you don't damage your hair, I would let a stylist do it.

How to get rid of dyed black hair?

bleach it..... or let ur roots grow all out.

How to get rid of dyed black hair?

just let ur hair grow out then cut it. ur normal color will be back. if u dye it again itll mix w/ the black.

How to get rid of dyed black hair?

Depends on how much you are willing to waste...knowing that the kit is cheaper ..go for it..for since the salon are experts..go for the salon.

How to get rid of dyed black hair?

go to the salon, and ask for a color strip.

my friend bought a kit and did it herself and her hair turned out ORANGE!!!

How to get rid of dyed black hair?

just shave it off.

How to get rid of dyed black hair?

It is best to not dye your haid to begin with..............

Just wait for it to grow out.

How to get rid of dyed black hair?

I suggest bleaching your hair, then adding the color you want...go to Sally's or another beauty supply store...they'll have the bleach and color separate.

Well, if you don't want to bleach it, shave it...whatever.

How to get rid of dyed black hair?

hmm well i would go to a salon dont take the risk of messing it up more buy yourself

How to get rid of dyed black hair?

Dye it with a different color. Simple. Use a soft tone so that it dosent damage ur hair. Never use bleach on chemically treated hair. As hair will not only damage, the ends will get burnt, and you might start experiencing hairfall as well.

How to get rid of dyed black hair?

you might as well stick it in the kitchen disposal honey because even if the color does come out your hair will be PERMANENTLY ruined... okay... what you need is to cut it short like. and you get a pixie cut and then your hair will grow out hopefully in its original color love...

How to get rid of dyed black hair?

You hair will gradually lighten as you shampoo it. Don't attempt to put anything else on it as it will cause damage.

How to get rid of dyed black hair?

No, don't do it yourself. Go to the hair salon and have them fix it up for you, I remember I was in the exact same position as you, and I went to the salon and they did a wonderful job...it costed me about $200 though.

How to get rid of dyed black hair?

dont bleache your hair at home.... dark colors have too many pigments and it will have to stay on a long time to remove them, and if anything it will turn like a red color. I suggest going to a salon and asking them what they can do, or if it would be easier to put a caramel color brown ontop to lighten it a bit..

at home bleache kits ruin and fry your hair!!

How to get rid of dyed black hair?

anti dandruff shampoo works great for fading colour from hair. wash it with head and shoulders stacks of times, and hopefully this may fade it. unfortunately, darker hair dies, even if they arent permanent, have a tendency of staining the hair for a long time. You may have to bleach it to strip back the colour. I'd personally go to the salon, as DIY bleaching can get nasty. You don't want to be burning your scalp or leaving it on too long again, and making your hair brittle and unhealthy.

good luck!

How to get rid of dyed black hair?

wash your hair with Tide.

it strips the color.

i did this last year, and it worked perfeectly.

you might have to do it more than once though.
